Overview

I am a very analytical individual with meticulous attention to detail and pride myself on my ability to communicate effectively and openly. I enjoy working closely with attorneys to refine our strategic practices and value any opportunity to use my skill set to serve both attorneys and clients.

I have over 5 years of experience in the legal profession. My first role in this field was as records clerk for Shernoff Bidart Echeverria, a Plaintiff’s firm in Claremont, California responsible for setting the legal precent requiring insurance companies to act in good faith. In this role, my primary responsibility was obtaining medical records on behalf of clients who had experienced catastrophic injury or were victims of medical malpractice. Doing so not only gave me a strong sense of appreciation for my health, but also a great sense of respect and admiration for the law and how it can be used to serve some of the most deserving individuals and their loved ones.

Shortly thereafter I began working with Everett Dorey LLP, a full-service Litigation Firm in Irvine, California. I wore many hats in my role with Everett Dorey, from File Clerk to Assistant Office Coordinator to Litigation Secretary, where I stayed for about three years before my arrival to Colorado and Z&A. My experience in the various roles of this field has encouraged a well-rounded knowledge of how law firms function and how each role contributes to our client’s success.

Global Experience

Where I’ve Been

Growing up in Southern California granted me the unique opportunity of living in an extremely diverse environment. While I have travelled, I have not needed to go far in order to gain global experience. In fact, it wasn’t until I moved from California that I realized not everywhere is as diverse as my home state. Growing up, it was normal to have friends who differ from you and to share their culture through religious and spiritual celebrations. However, to my delight, I’ve found the best way to learn about someone else’s culture or nationality is through their food.
