He also has expertise in business and commercial litigation, including breach of fiduciary obligations, breach of contract, premises liability, and foreclosures. Ben enjoys working closely with businesses to meet their specific needs. In doing so, Ben handles the various legal matters that arise in the business context, such as drafting contracts and apprising business owners on legal issues relevant to their industry.

Prior to practice, Ben graduated from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. While attending Sturm, Ben was a member of the Water Law Review, Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity, Business Law Society, and Rhone Brackett Inn of Court. Ben’s employment during law school included working as a law clerk for both the Colorado Division of Administrative Hearings and a civil litigation firm.

Before law school, Ben attended the University of New Mexico on a Presidential Scholarship, where he graduated magna cum laude and earned a Bachelor of Arts. Over the course of his undergraduate studies, Ben completed the University Honors Program and received recognition on the Dean's List. During that time, Ben worked at Sandia National Laboratories and U.S. Department of Energy, where he assisted in implementing the U.S. Department of Energy directives and drafting a computer security handbook for the entire U.S. Department of Energy - Albuquerque complex.

Ben is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and is admitted in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He remains a member of the Rhone Brackett Inn of Court.
